Recess Sister Events are events that get the Recess seal of approval. We trust their organizers with the tender, inspired souls of the recess family, we believe in their goals and values, and we see them as strong allies in the important community-centered projects that we dedicate ourselves to.

Our goals are:
To create a festival to facilitate fun and connection through dance!
To create a healthy, safe environment to enjoy each other’s company, great music, art, food, and play.
To foster a shared intention to care for the land we are inhabiting, respect for each other, and our neighbors.
To create an event that is meaningful to organizers, volunteers, and participants equally.
To grow as a community through dance.
