If you don't know about our collaborators this year, you should! Valencia Blues Revolution are an inspiring group from Valencia, Spain, and are a part of putting on AdventureFest and Double Shot Valencia.

Recess had a turbulent start to 2018. But after hearing from hundreds upon hundreds of our European Recess and Spanish Recess community members and some important lessons and changes, we are excited to announce Tinto de Recess 2018!
This year Tinto de Recess moves from southern Spain to the north, and with the additions of the exciting collaboration of Valencia Blues Revolution! Albergue Casa Salina will be our historic venue, perched on beautiful turquoise waters below limestone cliffs of the Pyrenees foothills. Outdoor, lake-side parties all day and night, with community candlelit meals, and the namesake magic of Recess. This is a fusion-focused dance event, expect a wide array of music from blues to electronic and everything in between. There will be no formal classes, but there will be plenty of skillshares on topics like dancing, song circles, stargazing, and anything you or those present want to offer.
There are 70 beds for rent in an assortment of arrangements (dorm style, private rooms, apartment style). If you would like your pick of a bed, be sure to register soon! For those not wanting to rent a bed, camping and shower access is included in the registration price.

Tentative Event Schedule
Thursday Event Arrival Information: Dinner and opening circle at 7pm. Feel free to arrive anytime after 4pm, but know that we'll joyfully ask (and expect) you to help us set up! Music starts at 9pm.
Daily Meal Times: (All heavy on the "ish") 12pm brunch, 8:00pm dinner, 2am late night snack.
Dancing Nightly: 10pm to when we stop. With venue changes and transitions..
Monday Noon: We miss you already, thanks for the beauty! Now let's clean up!

How to Arrive With Recess
Recess has a bus! Her name is Deseada Victoria, and they're a London Double Decker, as charismatic as you can believe. She'll be helping with rides between Recess events this summer tour in Europe. If you want "on-the-bus" be sure to sign up and pay for your gas-share through this registration. Everyone "on-the-bus" is expected to not only contribute with gas costs, but also to help set-up the event we are going to when we arrive, as well as pack-up when we are on to our next trip!

- Valencia to Tinto Del Recess: 40 Euros: Leaving 12:00 from Valencia, Wednesday, June 27th. Includes Wed night lodging and brunch on Thursday.
- Tinto Del Recess to Valencia: The Recess Bus will not be returning to Valencia, as we will be going to Nowhere Festival directly afterwards. However, we will do shuttle runs to drop people off in Huesca, Spain, on Monday. From Huesca there are regular buses to Zaragoza, Barcelona, and Valenica.
